Our Mission
We defend the rights of older adults and facilitate the self-training of Los Ángeles Custodios as social entrepreneurs in the department of Santander. Our mission is an example in many countries.
Since 1984
Organization
Fundación Albeiro Vargas y Ángeles Custodios began work in 1984 on the initiative of a 6-year-old boy, who directed his work to give protection and dignify the lives of older adults in vulnerable conditions. It has been a non-profit institution for 35 years, providing quality of life to more than 300 older adults and 50 guardian angels.
Founder
Albeiro Vargas
He was born on June 7, 1978, in one of the rural neighborhoods of the city of Bucaramanga, in a very humble home in the northern area. At the young age of 6, he became aware of despair and society pain, he was among the needs of the most vulnerable and unprotected: the elderly.
